Co2 DIY Generator Set Kit 2000ml can produce carbon dioxide equivalent with compressed carbon dioxide cylinder 500ml.
Product Instruction :
72 hour air tightness test of products have been finished. No need to tighten bottle any more. Use the kit directly.
Please read before use :
--- Do not use non-carbonated beverage bottles (poor pressure resistance, interface mismatch)
--- Strong acids and bases are not allowed. Please use food additives as raw materials:
--- Hot-water soaking may help improve tube deformation.
--- How to use quick-plug connector :
Dismantle : Press the small cap of the quick plug connector on the bottle cap to dismantle the tube. Do not pull up the tube directly.
Install : Insert the tube directly into the bottom of quick plug connector.
Materials needed :
--- 2 Soda bottles (2 liters will be the best choice)
--- Reaction materials (Citric Acid 200g , Baking Soda 200g)
--- 800ml Water (RO-DI water will be the best choice)
--- 1 piece Co2 diffuser.
START DO IT:
1) Preparation of raw materials
Add 200g citric acid +600ml water into the A bottle, let the citic acid dissolve completely.
Add 200g baking soda +200ml water, shake the bottle very well.
2) Install the DIY Co2 generator on the bottle
Install cap A (blue cap) on citric acid bottle and cap B (Red cap) on baking soda bottle. Twist the caps well.
Make sure the trimmer valve closed. Not connect the tube in tank.
3) Start the reaction to produce Co2
3.1) Squeeze bottle A to push the citric acid solution into bottle B to create reaction.
3.2) This step is based on the pressure difference theory, squeeze the citric acid solution of bottle A into B to react gradually, the pressure in generator increases. The reaction process is : twist trimmer valve to deflate, citric acid solution in bottle A flows into bottle B, keep reaction for 3-5 seconds, shut trimmer valve immediately. Shake bottle B properly to speed up reaction. Repeat this step until pressure inceases and maintains in green scale. The whole start-up reaction is finished now.
3.3) It wold be the best if the pressure maintains at 1.5kg after start-up reaction, Working pressure can be maintained in the green scale.
3.4) Connect the diffuser and adjust the required air volume by twisting the adjusting knob.
HOW TO USE TRIMMER VALVE : Do not use pliers to shut or adjust Co2 output. As there is residual pressure in the hose, please adjust gas flow slowly and patiently.

How to use magnetic acid absorbing ball :
Functions : Thegenerator consistently produces Co2 based on the pressure difference theory. At the later stage, the waste liquid accumulated in bottle B will cause incomplete reaction between citric acid and baking soda, resulting in acid accumulation, resulting in pressure instability that gradually decreases or increases, which can be effectively alleviated by magnetic acid absorbing ball.
When should you pull the acid absorbing ball out from the solutions?
-When the gauge hand exceeds the green scale or the pressure rises suddenly.
-When it is required to terminate the reaction, Depressuize or control the consumption of acid solution manually.
When should you put the acid absorbing ball into the solutions?
-Under normal usage.
-Start the reaction.
-When the gauge hand displays in green scale.
Working principle :
The generator bases upon acid-base (food additive citric acid and baking soda) reaction theory and the pressure difference theory to generate a continous and controllable high-purity food-level carbon dioxide gas. Gas output is controlled by trimmer valve and coordinate with diffuser to help aquatic plant to realize photosynthesis. High performance cost, suitable for small and medium-sized cylinders. When should I change materials and how to depressurize manually?
When all the acid is squeezed into the bottle B, the pressure decreases slowly with the gas release, and it is gradually unable to push the diffuser to realize gas output.Atthis time, all the reaction solutions need to be poured out and replaced. (Tips: Not open the cap if there is residual pressure in bottles. Pressure relief is needed first)
Follow the steps below to depressurize:
Shut the trimmer valve, pull the tube off.
Tilt bottle A to detach the acid tube from the acid solution.
Open the trimmer valve.
