General Description

The Reef Octopus Super series skimmers offer the very pinnacle of external protein skimmer performance from 300L up to a 2400L aquarium.

All the latest skimmer design innovations can be found on this series. The HY Bubble Blaster pinwheel pump offers super efficiency and the very best in performance.

The design is to incorporate a bubble plate diffuser in a cylinder acrylic tube which then transitions to a cone riser into the neck. This means less turbulence in the neck area and more contact time for organic debris to rise and spill into the collection cup. Some key features are over sized acrylic silencers for noise reductions, gate valves for precision water setting and control, and drains on the collection cups. The external model also has a drain on the mixing box so you can drain the water out of the skimmer before picking it up.
