Easy-to-Read Marine Hydrometer

The aquarium hydrometer is easy to read and use. Just simply dunk it in the aquarium to fill it with water, then put it on a level surface to read the scale. The easy-to-read swing-arm pointer and extra wide stable base provide an accurate test result.
The reading is temperature-corrected and accurate to +/-0.001. The unit of specific gravity is 1. 000-1. 030 (ppt value: 0-43.9 degrees), the safe area is 1.020-1.023 (ppt value: 30.2-34.2 degrees), and the low specific gravity area is 1.000-1.019 (ppt value: 0- 28.9 degrees), the higher specific gravity area is 1.024-1.030 (ppt value: 35.5-43.9 degrees).

Directions for Use

How to use an aquarium hydrometer salinity tester?
1. Insert the hydrometer into the tank or the fish pond until the plate spills. (slowly filling to prevent bubbles from attached to the pointer)
2. When reaches the full state, take out the hydrometer and place it on a horizontal surface.
4. Read the specific gravity according to the inner scale, and read out the salinity (PPT) according to the outside scale. We recommend that the sea density is between 1.020-1.023, that is the safety line.
5. Rinse with clean after each use.

Use Tips

1. When first using the hydrometer, to make higher accuracy, please fill the warm and detergent, cleaning of oil clean inside.
2. The air bubbles attached to the needle will lead to inaccurate readings, carefully use the stick to blow the foam to make the bubble dismissing.

Cleaning hydrometer tips: salt crystallization on the pointer will cause inaccuracy of reading. If the salt is in the hydrometer, the hydrometer can be soaked in warm or vinegar for 30 minutes, then rinse with tap water and air dry.
